Hi Achala, Silpat: you won't find it here, but you can use parchment paper. Hazelnuts: Crawford market Instead of soft dark brown sugar you can use demerara sugar. Hypercity does have dark soft brown sugar though.

Hey, That's probably because you poured the batter from quite a distance from the pan.

Hi Shaheen, I just came across your blog and it's so beautiful! I've wanted to write a food blog for the longest time, but just can't find the courage to start. Your blog is such an inspiration! PS-Do you deliver your baked goodies to Delhi by any chance? :) Charis

Hi Shaheen, First of all..i must congratulate you on your site and the courage to chuck up a corporate job. Bravo!!! Fell in love with ur site @first sight. <3 <3 One small suggestion can you also have a separate list of links for recipes which do not use eggs. I dont cook much however i do love to bake stuff once a while and ur website inspires!! One small problem though: I eat eggs in cakes/chocolates that i buy from outside, however we do not use eggs in the house. It would be really inspiring if you do start a veggie only section. I really cant appreciate ur love for food enough, however thank u once again for inspiring all those who dont like cooking but wanna do once they see ur site...and brilliant pictures i must add!!! :)

Hey, using the same recipe for baking without eggs isn't quite the same. A lot of the proportions change, so I suggest you use a recipe that doesn't call for eggs from the onset.

HI Shaheen , I plan t set up my own commercial bread making kitchen soon in Mumbai . I have many questions i don't have answers to like setting up a kitchen , sourcing the right ingredients for making the perfect bread , how long does a bread last if made with 100% natural ingredients , etc . Do you offer any consultancy services to new entrepreneurs who wish to enter this field but are clueless about many aspects of bread making. ?
