I am currently reading , Three cups of tea- NOT ANY WHERE CLOSE TO COOKING and I am FAR cry from the due date to apply for the book contest .. hehe After a treacherous trek down my local mountain recently I had to read his humanitarian masterpiece and not a cooking book for a change.

Well the book is given off I know, but LCB chronicles must be a tummy invigorating, heart racing experiences to read… how do I pick it and from where? Chai bar to crosswords to odyssey in Bangalore fail to keep such books- waste of a bookstore I say and AMAZON think India is not in the postal reach (do they courier to india?, yea I guessed- NO)

I think someone form the blogosphere should start a library only for COOKS and should be able to mail it anywhere.. Well till that happens, do let me know if you get hold of this book and I could buy it from you, Bangalore is not FAR and net transfer (before you buy) is not any rocket science!! 

Last time when I mailed you it was my boys birthday, this time its mine- I am baking my own cake and few bakes from your recipe list too..

made dulce de leche-in micro it was a disaster-got burnt completely
next time on slow burner was good but sd be kept for 4 hrs min. as u say its addictive–thats what I luv abt u–u r so deliciously refreshing & no afraid to talk & give recipes of other chefs–by the way the level of vodka & brandy r decreasing every day frm vanilla extract that I am making–shd I top it up or what????

Yes, I haven't seen those pink karondas here since then!

I am definitely going to try the strawberries with the pâte brisée dough the next time! And strawberries are coming soon. So you cook the strawberries along with the dough or separately and then simply layer the strawberries on them?
