rgc: There are veggie stores at 7 bunglows which sell the veggies your looking to buy. There is one right next to hot chips (opposite legacy of china) and then there is a guy who sits at the corner of the road bang opposite the shiv mandir (just where the roads turns to yari road) these guys aren't expensive either. More places to explore: Vendor outside Gurukripa (bon bon) vendors outside Spinach again at Bon Bon.. hope this helps and as Shaheen rightly pointed 4 bunglows is a great option too..

Wine Blog: We never found any asparagus until a few years ago. Remember reading about it in my English prose book in school. It's always been expensive here so I only but it when I'm absolutely sure I'm going to use it, lest it goes waste.

Kellypea: It's quite the other way around at my place - we use mint and parsley more than any other herb. I just pluck some fresh from my little pot.

Feride: Yes, mint added a very nice twist to the taste. I was intrigued to find the addition of mint in the recipe myself!

I love fritattas and anything with asparagus gets my attention. I don't often use mint in my savory cooking, though so this would definitely be something for me to try since I think of the usual thyme or a blend like herbs de provence. I can't imagine the flavor!

I love asparagus sooo much! It's the one veggie I wish I ate more of but never seem to have on my dinner plate. I think it's just getting too expensive lately or something. This frittata looks great!
