A Foodie’s Gift Guide

December 8, 2010

Get some holiday foodie gifts for your loved ones!

I’ve been coming across way too many adorable things – be it stationery, ceramics or jewellery. With the holiday season coming up, it’s only apt for me to share these discoveries with you to gift these to your friends, family or yourself.

(All the items listed below also ship to India!)

  1. Water colour paintings: These paintings of fruits for all the seasons in vivid colours, with French captions adding a touch of elegance.
  2. Apron: Always worried about doing the math wrong when converting recipe measurements? This apron is made for you.
  3. Cake charms: As soon as I saw these, I ordered them! Here’s the most adorable charm necklace with a fork and knife on one and a slice of cake on the other.
  4. French rolling pin: I adore my French rolling pin, but this rolling pin with rounded edges look absolutely neat.
  5. Tea towels: So many happy colours for all the seasons!
  6. Paris plate: Like they say on their website “May your meals never be without a touch of Parisian whimsy.”
  7. Letterpress coasters:  With doughnuts, apples and pies printed on the coasters, what’s not to like?
  8. Book: The Flavour Thesaurus. Yeah, I’m pretty obsessed with this book right now.
  9. Flour jar: Flour has never resided in anything prettier. Just look at these!
  10. Tumblers: I love, love, love the clean design.
  11. Lunch tote:  I love my lunch bag and bottle bag from Built NY.
  12. Vintage silverware (garden markers): A perfect gift for a gardener to spruce up their herb patches.
Note: All images belong to the respective shops.

Great list! So many terrific ideas. Thank you for helping to make my wallet smaller, of course, now I actually have to “give” these gifts away.
