5 Things About MeMe | The Purple Foodie

I have read memes on different blogs since the time I started blogging, and today Allison at Cinnamon Love tagged me. I had quite a few points jotted down for the meme. I’ve picked out 5 random things for the list.

5 Things about me you didn’t know:

I’ve loved cooking since my childhood and as long as I can remember, I’ve found it very difficult to follow a recipe to the T. I have this compulsive need to alter recipes to what I deem as perfect at that point.

I hate tomato skins. I have to skin all my tomatoes and deseed them before using them. I can’t stand the stings floating in my gravy or sticking out of a toasted sandwich.

I love the colour purple – anything purple. [note: this was when the blog wasn't known as The Purple Foodie]

Some random foods I enjoy include banana pancakes, wasabi nuts, caramel popcorn, nutella, goats cheese and black dal. (Which reminds me, I should make some soon.)

My newest favourite song is Happy Together that Brooke White sung on American Idol.
